about

Mostly you have probably realised that one of my biggest influences has been what one might describe as “Celtic Rock”, from Thin Lizzy to Big Country, there is always something about the way the blend of solid hard rock and traditional folk riffs works that makes me feel good.

So Glass Towers was written as a toe-tapper, with strong tips of the hat to people like Stuart Adamson, Gary Moore, Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson.

lyrics

VERSE 1;

Line them up and knock them down
Spin our heads round and round

CHORUS:

People in glass towers shouldn’t be surprised
If the breaking glass means you cannot hide

In glass towers we have to learn
Not to throw no stones
Throw no stones at all

VERSE 2:

Build them up the pass them by
Give them nothing no matter how hard they try

No autotune - EVER!

You may notice I use lots of harmonies in vocal overdubs, but it is always just my voice with maybe some echo and a little bit of reverb!!!!!
